Purpose: To provide in-depth exploration and meaningful coverage to local government issues and events by experienced news professionals.
$4,333 to Hamilton County Office of the County Administrator
Purpose: To provide an opportunity for a college student to gain first-hand experience of the day-to-day operations of the County Administrator's Office in a large urban county.
$3,000 to Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (GCC-ASPA)
Purpose: To inspire public administrators to take pride in their profession and to acknowledge the contributions of colleagues through the 2011 Public Administrator of the Year Awards Banquet.

Purpose: To recognize and honor those outstanding employees who work as public servants in and around Cincinnati.

Purpose: To provide student interns with the opportunity to learn about non-profit community development organizations and their interactions with neighborhood representatives and community leaders, including local government.

Purpose: To provide leadership training that empowers low and moderate-income communities.
$15,000 to Applied Information Resources, Inc.
Purpose: To involve public officials and citizens of the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County in thoughtful deliberations regarding long term questions and issues facing local governments.

Purpose: To create and distribute voter informational guides so that voters are well-informed about candidates' positions on the issues.
$7,500 to Rivers Unlimited
Purpose: To allow citizens to play the lead roles in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating water quality data, and collaborating with government agencies to mitigate pollution and plan for the long-term health of the watershed.
$10,000 to Center for the Study of the American Dream at Xavier University
Purpose: To generate research and survey data on Generation Z and their view of their American dream.
$4,333 to Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD)
Purpose: To give a student the opportunity to begin his or her first professional experience within the public administration arena.
$20,000 to the University of Cincinnati College of Law
Purpose: To provide funding for the Ohio Innocence Project that engages law students to work with their professors on pro-bono cases to establish the innocence of prisoners in potential cases of mistaken identity.
$3,000 to Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (GCC-ASPA)
Purpose: To give an undergraduate or graduate student the opportunity to learn about public and governmental administration from a professional organization's perspective.
$6,500 to the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati
Purpose: To develop a group African American men and women to examine critical issues facing African Americans in Cincinnati and to teach leadership skills to for effectively addressing ongoing and emerging community issues

Purpose: To inspire City of Cincinnati staff to create a dynamic, energized, sustainable, performance-based and effective work environment through recognition of staff innovations in government operations.
$7,000 to Invest in Neighborhoods, Inc.
Purpose: To provide neighborhood volunteers with the tools and information they need to effectively work to make their communities attractive and successful.
