Jason ChamleeJason Chamlee
University of Cincinnati
Jason and his wife have lived in Cincinnati for nearly five years, most recently purchasing a home in Pleasant Ridge. Jason just finished his first year of the Master of Community Planning program, specializing in Economic and Community Development. He graduated Cum Laude from Miami University in 2004, with a BA in History and an Economics Minor and spent two years as an investment analyst before entering graduate school. He chose placement in the Office of Budget and Evaluation to gain an intricate knowledge of public finance and the budget process. Jason wants to spend his career finding ways to leverage private investment for public works projects in order to facilitate economic growth and urban development in Cincinnati. He is working in the City's Office of Budget and Evaluation.

Esther ClearyEsther Cleary
Xavier University
Esther Cleary is a senior at Xavier University. She is double majoring in Political Science and the Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Program as well as pursuing minors in History and Philosophy. She has worked in the non-profit sector at the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education and is now experiencing work in city government in the Mayor's office. Her interests are many and varied and she hopes to gain a better knowledge and perspective about how city government functions as a whole from her position in one government office. Esther hopes to use her experiences this summer to help her choose a career path after graduation.



Kate FranchiniKate Franchini
Xavier University
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kathryn Franchini came to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University. She graduated in May 2010 with an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in the Philosophy, Politics & the Public program along with International Economics and Spanish. As an intern in the Office of Contract Compliance, Kate hopes to complement her studies with a practical understanding of the City's economic development programs. She enjoys exploring Cincinnati's unique neighborhoods and businesses, and is considering a career in the public sector. Her international travels have sparked an interest in possibly pursuing an advanced degree in international law or immigration policy.


Heath IngramHeath Ingram
Miami University
Heath Ingram is currently an undergraduate student at Miami University majoring in Public Administration. Originally from Maineville, Ohio, Heath has developed a strong interest in both public administration and the law. Working for Cincinnati's Law Department has been an excellent opportunity to combine these interests. Heath is primarily assisting the Department with researching the legal issues surrounding the proposed creation of a regional water district and the administrative implications this will have for the City of Cincinnati as well as for City water users. He is confident that his experience with the Law Department will help shape his career path after he graduates in the spring of 2011.


Dustin LesterDustin Lester
Northern Kentucky University
Dustin Lester, a native of Fairfax Ohio, is a student in Northern Kentucky University's Master of Public Administration program with a concentration in Metropolitan Governance.  He is currently serving in Cincinnati's Department of City Planning where he is assisting with the citywide comprehensive plan, Plan Cincinnati.  With his education and experience with the City of Cincinnati, Dustin hopes to serve in a local government management role or work in public policy.
