Rhiannan PriceRhiannan Price
Xavier University
A native of St. Louis, Rhiannan is pursuing a degree in French and Philosophy, Politics and the Public. She also is concentrating on economics, history, international affairs, and peace studies. Rhiannan says she would like to work in an international service organization such as the Peace Corps for a year or two after college before starting law school. During her internship she hopes to make a visible difference in Cincinnati, spark a process of ongoing change and reform and support a more accountable local government that listens to its community.

Hailing from Mansfield, Ohio, Rebekah is currently pursuing a Master of Community Planning specializing in International Development Planning and Economic Development at the University of Cincinnati's School of Planning. She also is the School of Planning's first Peace Corps Fellow, a program for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. After graduation, Rebekah plans to work for an international development agency, such as USAID or the UN, or to work with Native American's and the communities in which they live in the Western United States. Rebekah hopes to gain a better understanding of how departments within city government work to help their citizens.

Miami University
A 2001 graduate of Walnut Hills High School, Markiea is graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and a minor in economics. She plans to attend graduate school with a focus in public policy and start a public service career at the local or state level. From this internship Markiea hopes to gain not only experience but a better understanding of how public policy and politics are intertwined in the city.

Miami University
A 2002 graduate of Finneytown High School, Carolyn is pursuing a pursuing a Political Science degree. After graduation in December 2005, she plans to attend graduate or law school. From this internship, "I hope to gain a better appreciation of the role of government in people's daily lives and to assist the city that has helped to raise me," Carolyn said.
