$10,000-to YMCA of Greater Cincinnati
Purpose: YMCA's City Voice program is to educate area high school students in the operations of city government through experiential learning.

$1,500 to Women's City Club of Greater Cincinnati
Purpose: To support the National Speaker Forum on March 4, 2005.

$7,750 to Northern Kentucky Area Development District
Purpose: To provide for an internship to be filled by a student from one of the local colleges or universities to provide professional assistance to the Northern Kentucky Area Development District and to city and county governments, while further enhancing the student's interest in working within the public sector.

$7,000 to Ink Tank
Purpose: To support AlterActive Speaks, a unique series of town-hall civic discussions organized that turns the spotlight on new and different voices in the community and encourage a better informed and more engaged electorate.

$15,000 to Forward Quest
Purpose: To support the program Vision 2015 that engages the people of northern Kentucky in an envisioning process to develop goals and actions for the next ten years that will help our region and our people thrive.

$900 to Public Service Recognition Cincinnati
Purpose: To support the Public Service Recognition Event by providing plaques for recognized winners

$20,000 to Citizens for Civic Renewal
Purpose: To support CCR activities that promotes good government for the social and economic health of our region by empowering citizens and serving as a catalyst for civic action.

$12,000 to Campbell County Fiscal Court
Purpose: To allow a postsecondary student intern to work with the elected and executive leadership of one of the largest counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and gain valuable insight and experience in local government.

$10,000 to the American Institute of Social Justices
Purpose: To build power among lower-income people by bringing together families to work together to confront issues in their neighborhoods and engage low-income citizens in civic processes.

$6,500 to Invest in Neighborhoods
Purpose: To support the Neighborhood Summit Meeting, that brings together the residents and political leaders of the City of Cincinnati, allowing for dialogue and citizen participation in public affairs.

$7,500 to Rosenthal Institute for Justice
Purpose: To bring three nationally known experts to the University of Cincinnati-College of Law to make public addresses on current civic issues.

$25,000 to UC Foundation
Purpose: : To bring nationally-prominent thought leaders in fields related to local or regional government to the University of Cincinnati to speak with students, faculty, media and the public in order to provide an opportunity to learn about innovative approaches to local government, and to stimulate interest in career opportunities in municipal and government service.

$7,500 to Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund
Purpose: To organize neighbors to continue to meet with Lanxess Management and local regulators (Ohio EPA, ORSANCO, and Hamilton County Environmental Services) to ensure that commitments made by Lanxess are implemented and that local regulators enforce standards.

$8,000 to Environmental Community Organizing
Purpose: To foster a better awareness of the environmental concerns of local neighborhoods within the emergency response, homeland security, governmental, and industrial communities, and a better security awareness in our neighborhoods through training citizens on Community Environmental Policing.

$14,500 to Applied Information Resources
Purpose: To complete a study on Race Relations in Cincinnati by administering a series of interviews with diverse government, civic, business, religious and community leaders, community focus groups, hold a half day conference on the findings of the study, and the creation of an "Action Handbook".

$5,000 to Northside Community Council
Purpose: To increase citizen participation in public affairs through a community workshop that will improve communication and problem solving by the diverse Northside citizenry and will motivate, build skills and support residents in to participate more actively in civic/community affairs.

$3,000 to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration
Purpose: To provide an internship with the GCC-ASPA for a graduate student from one of the local colleges or universities which will further enhance the student's interest in working within the public sector.

$3,000 to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration
Purpose: To host an annual event to acknowledge exceptional work by public administrators and to bring the importance and dedication of the field of public administration to the attention of the community.

$25,000 to Cincinnati Public Radio, Inc
Purpose: Support the continuation of WVXU radio news program's in depth exploration and coverage of local government issues and events by six highly experienced news professionals.
