Purpose: To educate area high school students in the operations of city government through experiential learning.

Purpose: To support the National Speaker Forum on March 29, 2004

$900.00 - to Public Service Recognition Cincinnati
Purpose: To support the Public Service Recognition Event by providing plaques for recognized winners

$10,000 - to Citizens for Civic Renewal
Purpose: To advance CCR's mission by advocating for regional reforms that citizens developed in response to the Cincinnati Metropatterns study.

$5,000 - to The American Institute of Social Justices
Purpose: The purpose would serve general organizing efforts which include membership drives, non-partisan voter registration, financial literacy outreach and education, and neighborhood and citywide campaigns.

$3,750 - to UC Foundation
Purpose: Three nationally known experts will be invited to spend the day at the College of Law. Each will make a public address during the visit.

$3,200 - to Urban Appalachian Council
Purpose: To provide a 30-year picture of how the metropolis, the city, and its neighborhoods have changed, analyze the trends, and make recommendations for better allocation of resources and directions for public policy.

$10,000 - to Public Allies
Purpose: To provide young adults age 18-30 (Allies) with leadership development and apprenticeship opportunities in local communities.

$7,750 - to Environmental Community Organization
Purpose: The project promotes citizen participation in the implementation of the city's air pollution law, The "Cincinnati Clean Air Act", as well as other relevant state environmental laws.

$7,750 - to Ohio Citizen Action Education Fund
Purpose: As a result of our good neighbor campaigns, citizens are educated on how the local government process works, how to interact with the agencies and how to actively participate in the system.

$5,000 - to Northside Community Council
Purpose: To increase the skills of the citizens in effectively confronting objectionable behaviors by face to face dialogues that citizens from many diverse backgrounds will join in efforts to improve the community and to create teams that provide support for active citizens.

$600.00 - to Invest in Neighborhoods, Inc.
Purpose: To train community councils to function more effectively and democratically by following parliamentary procedures.

$2,000 - to Northern Kentucky Area Development District
Purpose: This project will provide for an internship to be filled by a graduate student from one of the local colleges or universities to provide administrative support to the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration and, at the same time, further enhance the student's interest in working within the public sector.

$3,000 - to Center for Policy Management and Regional Affairs
Purpose: This project will be an internship to be filled by a graduate student from one of the local colleges or universities, which in turn will further enhance the student's interest in working in the public sector.

Purpose: To allow a postsecondary student intern to work with the elected and executive leadership of one of the largest counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky- to gain valuable insight and experience in local government and to create an excitement for students to participate in public affairs during their postsecondary education and beyond.

$5,000 - to Forward Quest
Purpose: To update the studies of fiscal conditions in Northern Kentucky cities which was last done in 2002

$3,000 - to Greater Cincinnati Chapter of ASPA
Purpose: To honor public sector professionals at the Awards Banquet on April 16, 2004 and to participate in the Public Service Recognition Week activities that will take place on Fountain Square.

$18,500 - to WVXU Xavier University
Purpose: Support for broadcast of write-in County Prosecutor candidates and special funds debate.
